This is the course profile of the ASICS Greater Manchester Marathon in Trafford. Please don't think that is a mountain at 20.5km, it is an incline from 33m to 46m over a distance of 1.5km - a gradient of 0.9% or less than 1 in 100! The uphill looking section at the end is not that at all - 17m at 34km to 33m at 42km - 0.2% or 1 in 500.
